Coding Supervisor
Ann Marie has over 35 years of work experience in the field of anesthesia which encompasses over 14 years of practice in the anesthesia and pain management billing arena. She is able to effectively and efficiently research new surgical and anesthesia procedures for correct coding as well as determine payer guidelines/ policies on anesthesia. Prior to joining PAR, Ann Marie was employed as an anesthesia research associate for 19 years at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She assisted in pre-clinical research studies of local anesthetics where her knowledge and interest for anesthesia began. From her time as a research associate, Ann Marie developed strong analytical skills that now assist her in the coding field. From 1999 to present, Ann Marie has been employed at PAR Management as the coding supervisor. In addition to her BA degree in Biology, Ann Marie received her Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders in 2002.
